I made these posters to inspire myself and others during the pump. I hung them on the wall near my usual station at FitZone Pro. They were there for three days before the manager told me to remove them. She said they were "too intense" and that "several members complained." She said one poster in particular "made a man cry."

Here is a partial list of the posters:

1. "PUMP OR PERISH" — black background, red letters, 24x36 inches
2. "YOUR REST DAY IS SOMEONE ELSE'S PUMP DAY" — with a picture of a clock where every hour says "PUMP"
3. "THE BARBELL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS" — in all caps, military font
4. "IF YOU CAN READ THIS YOU ARE NOT PUMPING HARD ENOUGH" — intentionally blurry
5. "EVERY REP YOU SKIP IS A REP YOUR ENEMIES COMPLETE" — with a silhouette of a person lifting above you
6. "THERE IS NO 'I' IN PUMP BUT THERE IS A 'U' IN 'FAILURE' (almost)" — I acknowledge the spelling doesn't quite work
7. "SLEEP IS JUST HORIZONTAL QUITTING" — this is the one that made the man cry

I have been banned from 3 gyms for these posters. FitZone Pro, Iron Republic, and a Planet Fitness where I lasted 11 minutes. The gyms do not deserve them. But someone out there does.

Come get them. Free. They just want to be on a wall again.

Steve, I need "PUMP OR PERISH" immediately. I will drive any reasonable distance. I will drive an unreasonable distance. That poster belongs in my home gym where it can fulfill its purpose without corporate gym management getting in the way.

"SLEEP IS JUST HORIZONTAL QUITTING" — that is genuine art. I don't care what FitZone Pro says. That poster speaks a truth that most people aren't ready to hear. That man who cried? He cried because it resonated. That's what art does. It makes you feel things you've been avoiding.

I want all 14 if possible. I will build a wall specifically for them. A Pump Wall. A shrine. These posters deserve better than a cardboard box. They deserve to be illuminated.

Can I get "YOUR REST DAY IS SOMEONE ELSE'S PUMP DAY" and "EVERY REP YOU SKIP IS A REP YOUR ENEMIES COMPLETE"? Those are the two that speak to me on a cellular level.

My home gym currently has a motivational poster that says "Believe In Yourself" with a sunset. It was there when we bought the house. It is weak. It is insufficient. It does not motivate. It barely suggests. I need something that COMMANDS me to pump. Something that makes me feel like if I don't pick up that barbell, there will be consequences.

Steve, I'm sorry the gyms didn't understand your vision. Commercial gyms want motivation that's comfortable. They want "You got this!" and "Every journey starts with a single step!" They don't want the truth. The truth is that the pump is not comfortable and motivation shouldn't be either.

The response to this listing has been overwhelming. I have received 31 DMs. People want these posters. People need these posters. I knew the world was ready. The gyms were not, but the world is.

I should clarify something: I was not banned from Planet Fitness for the posters alone. I was also banned because I brought my own barbell. And because I was "grunting in a manner that frightened other members." And because I tried to disable the Lunk Alarm by unplugging it. And because when they plugged it back in, I grunted louder. The posters were the final straw, but there were several straws before that.

Also: I am making new posters. I have ideas. Many ideas. The bans have not stopped me. They have fueled me. New poster concept: "THE GYM BANNED ME BUT THE PUMP DID NOT." Thoughts?

Steve, I just want to confirm for the record that this listing does not violate any Pump Classifieds rules. Free items are allowed. Motivational posters are pump-adjacent. The content of the posters, while intense, does not constitute anti-pump material.

I do want to note that I personally read "SLEEP IS JUST HORIZONTAL QUITTING" and I have not slept well since. Not because it upset me. Because I keep thinking about it. Every time I lie down I think "is this horizontal quitting?" and then I consider getting up to pump. This has been going on for a week.

Steve, your posters are approved for the classifieds. But I want you to know: you have ruined my sleep schedule and I hold you personally responsible.
