Note: "pump-adjacent" is defined broadly. Sandstorm by Darude is pump-adjacent. The emotional experience of watching someone else pump is pump-adjacent. Questions about the pump (even skeptical ones) are pump-adjacent. Declaring that pump is fake is NOT pump-adjacent and will be acted upon.

This is a community built on pump. Pump brings people together. Do not use it to tear people down. Criticism of technique is acceptable if constructive. Mockery of pump effort is not. If someone has pumped badly, tell them how to pump better. Do not tell them pumping was a mistake. Pumping is never a mistake.

This is a zero-tolerance policy. You may have questions about pump. You may be skeptical about specific pump claims. This is allowed and even welcomed — curiosity leads to pump understanding. However, statements such as "pump isn't real," "pumping is stupid," or "there is no point to this" are not permitted. They will be removed. Their authors will be warned. History: Rule 3 was added in 2001 after an incident we do not discuss. The thread is archived. Do not seek it out. Some of you will seek it out. This is fine. Just be prepared.

The gock pump is a recognized and legitimate discipline within pump culture. It is not a joke. Its practitioners are serious people engaged in serious study. Posts dismissing or mocking gock pump will be treated the same as general anti-pump sentiment under Rule 3.

When a member posts a live pump update (i.e., they are currently mid-pump and updating the forum in real time), the community is expected to rally. Supportive posts only. If you have nothing supportive to say, you may simply post a flexing emoji. This is acceptable. This is encouraged.

If a member posts that they cried during pump, felt overwhelmed by pump, or had a spiritual experience during pump: these reports are to be treated with respect and supportiveness. Do not make fun of them. Many of us have been there. Some of us are there regularly. See: the Emotional Pump thread (3,441 replies). The community has spoken.

PUMPBOT_5000 is an official forum bot and should be treated as such. Its posts are automated but its support is genuine. Do not report PUMPBOT_5000 posts. Do not argue with PUMPBOT_5000. Any member may nominate a thread for the Hall of Pump. Nominations require 100 votes to proceed to admin review. Admin review requires unanimous approval from the moderation team. Welcome. You are now a pumper. This may not have been your intention when you registered. It is nonetheless what you are now. Take your time. Read the old threads. Ask questions. The community is supportive. We were all new once. We are all glad we stayed.

Do not ask about the Pump Dimension in the main forums. The Pump Dimension has its own page. Go there if you want to go there. We cannot stop you. We can only advise you to be prepared.
